OTHER INFORMATION:
Regarding the original album cover, these were the days of exertion before Osmose Productions. Here is featured the original “Queen of Disques” painting drawn by Timothy Phillips. It took Gothic Records three attempts to make cover appear correctly; both times featured the ABSU logo cut off, as the color contrast was very weak as well. The full name of this release is "Barathrum: Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultul Lapidem", which is an alchemical motto that translates to "Visit the interior of the earth and purifying you will find the hidden stone", and refers to a process of internal spiritual purification. Produced by Absu and Gothic Records. Executive production by Osmose Productions. Recorded in 1993. Original CD by Gothic Records was limited to 900 copies and didn't feature either the band's logo, or the album's title on it. However there is also Gothic Records version with the album title on the front cover. Picture LP limited to 800 copies (200 copies including a shirt and a patch).
