Aethyris McKay (Shandy Mckay) - Guitars, Bass, Synthesizers and Mellotron (2007-2010) – Aethyris was instrumental in helping Proscriptor resurrect ABSU in 2007. He perfomred guitars, bass and keyboards on the self-titled album (along with Zawicizuz) and the two tracks on the Split 7” with Rumplestiltskin Grinder. He decided to leave ABSU in 2010 to perform with Pantheon I.

Zawicizuz (Geoffrey Sawicky) - Guitars, Bass, Synthesizers/Programming and Backing Vocals (2007–2009) – Zawicizuz replaced Vastator Terrarum in 2007 and performed guitars and keyboards on the self-titled album. He previously played with Rape Pillage and Burn, Bleed The Son and Infernal Oak.

- Guitars and Backing Vocals (2007) – Vastator also helped Proscriptor resurrect the band in 2007 and performed guitars on the Split 7” with Rumplestiltskin Grinder. He left the band shortly afterwards although did write some of the music for "Absu".

Shaftiel (Mike Kelly) - Guitars and Vocals (1991–2002) – One of the co-founders of the band, Shaftiel founded ABSU as Dolmen in 1989 which became ABSU by 1991. He was the main music composer for all of ABSU’s material from the early days up to Tara (2001). Shaftiel left the band in 2002 when he no longer wished to contribute to ABSU, although he is credited for two songs on "Absu" as some of the material for that album had been planned as early as 2002. Shaftiel also performed in Angel Ripper, Dolmen, Eternus, Necrotic, Equimanthorn, Equitant, and 10 Kingdoms.

Equitant Ifernain (Ray Heflin) - Guitars, Bass and Lyrics (1991–2002) – The other co-founder of the band, Equitant and Proscriptor were the main writers of the lyrics of ABSU. Equitant also performed both guitars and bass for the band at various times, depending on the line up. He left the band to create is own musical project in 2002 and continues to create techno/EBM music to this day, releasing several albums, EPs, remixes and collaborations. He also continues to work with Equimanthorn, a band that has had various members of the underground music scene in it, including Proscriptor and Shaftiel. He also perviously played with Karnage, Dolmen, Eternus, Necrotic, and Furnace and even contributed a piece of music ("Twix Yesterday, The Day & The Morrow") to "Absu".

Kashshapxu (Rad Davis) - Guitars (2001–2002) – Kashshapxu was recruited to ABSU in 2001, previously performing in Infernal Oak and Bleed The Son. He performed live once with ABSU in 2001 as the Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child festival.

David Athron Mystica (Dave Ward) - Guitars (1992–1993) – David has previously played with Proscriptor in a band called Magus and joined ABSU with Proscriptor in 1992. He performed guitars on the “Barathrum V.I.T.R.I.O.L.” album and then left the band.  He also was in Equimanthorn and Decomposed, and most recently released a demo in 2001 with the band Maiestas.

Black Massith (Brian Artwick) - Keyboards, Synth, Sequencing (1992–1993) – Brian joined ABSU in 1992 and performed keyboards and sequencing for the band on the “Barathrum V.I.T.R.I.O.L.” album.  He also performed in Equimanthorn.

Gary Lindholm - Guitars (1991–1992) – Contributed guitars on ABSU’s demos "Return of the Ancients" and "The Temples of Offal". He also performed with Karnage.

Danny Benbow - Drums (1991–1992) – Contributed drums on ABSU’s demos "Return of the Ancients" and "The Temples of Offal". He also performed with Eternus and Necrotic.
